I’m a fifty-something woman with a quiet lifestyle and like to enjoy the autonomy of living in a house (rather than a strata). I currently live in a 1 bedroom townhouse that is part of a co-housing community in North Burnaby. I have a MA in Policy and I work for the provincial government in IT. I’m thoughtful, creative and a good listener. I’m process oriented, emotionally mature, honest, practical (to a fault sometimes) and easy to get along with. I volunteer in the community, hike, cycle and write. I am open to partnering with anyone as long as you also have a quiet lifestyle, are financially responsible and honest.

My ideal location would be East Vancouver, Mt. Pleasant, North Burnaby, North Vancouver (nearish Second Narrows Bridge) but no hard lines.

Property:

• Seeking a two bedroom or one bedroom plus den unit in a house.

• Lower level is fine if the ceilings are a good height.

• I would like some space to garden, keep an e-bike.

• Not interested in a lot of renovations.

I identify as queer but I don’t need to live with queer people. I believe that “good fences make good neighbours.” In other words, let’s be really clear about the business side of things so the rest has space to grow. I don’t expect to be friends with my co-owners unless that unfolds organically over time (and that would be the best!) but I do expect us to be collegial and collaborate with mutual respect.
