Hello! We are two longtime friends who have been living together for a year. Our plan is to continue our domestic partnership, adding children and more people for communal living. Life is unnecessarily hard when you have to do things alone! Ariel was raised Jewish and Chloe is looking into converting. We’re both queer. We have skills and experience with carpentry and other trades, arts, baking, group facilitation and conflict de-escalation.

We’re planning to have approximately 2 children, and are open to having more children around or not. Sharing childcare would be wonderful, if applicable.

Dogs are welcome, but we can’t get too close to cats due to allergies. An indoor cat would be fine if we have separate dwellings.

Studio or workshop space is an aspirational part of our vision, and we are into gardening and growing food. Ariel wants to make art, including ceramics. Chloe wants to woodwork, refurbish, build, etc.

We’re actively reviewing listings both on the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island. We have been pre approved for a joint mortgage of $360,000.

We value progressive attitudes and would love to be able to someday return land back to the Indigenous nation where we live, if possible. We also believe in and do what we can to support police abolition, Trans rights, harm reduction, housing for all and environmental justice.

Our dream collaborators practice Generosity, proactive and compassionate communication, communal meals, community care, boundaries and privacy, and sharing of labour.
