We need at least 2 bedrooms and an office, living room space, a spacious kitchen, and yard access for our son. We have a car so there has to be some sort of near-by parking. We have lived collectively and would like a balance of personal and shared space. How that balance looks and what's shared will depend on who we partner with and what works best for all involved.

We're looking for one or two other families with children around the same age as our son. We have him four days a week and would love to have kids for him to spend time with when he's with us. We also both love children and would love to be close to the people we co-house with. We will do best with folks that share our values of clear communication, respect for ALL humans and creatures, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth,

Kristy loves to garden and would love to have space to help grow food we can all enjoy. Shoshana loves cooking and would love to share what she makes with our co-housing mates. Spencer is full of energy and would love to have a trampoline in the yard to share with others in the neighbourhood. We all have deep community values and are looking for others who share the same - we want to build community through connections with our neighbours for mutual aid and mutual support.

Family of 3 seeking community in East Vancouver

We are a recently married queer couple with a nearly seven year old son and no pets of our own, though the neighbours cat regularly takes up residence with us. We are both working professionals in careers that we love; Kristy is a lawyer, Shoshana is a leadership coach. Kristy enjoys gardening and logic puzzles, Shoshana loves singing, dancing, and anything creative, including cooking & baking. Our son is a vibrant extrovert who loves anything active and social and is also a budding engineer with a Lego obsession / empire. As a family we love adventuring in the forest or to the beach, playing board games, and being silly. We live in East Van, near Clinton Park, and are well connected and established in our community.

We would like to be located in East Van, particularly the area around Lord Nelson school.

We don't have much for a down payment, but have been pre-approved for a reasonable amount of mortgage. We are looking to partner with (an)other(s) who have more capacity for down payment (and maybe qualifies for less mortgage), and/or would prefer a larger ownership stake and/or are willing to work creatively with us to secure some kind of funding grants for the down payment.
